The national anthem remains

Following a delegation from Oshawa resident Dale Jodoin, who requesting the city make moves to keep the national anthem at the start of council meetings, council has done just that.

Approving a motion at their regular meeting on June 8, the singing of the national anthem prior to council meetings will be added to council’s procedural bylaw.
