Test preparation continues at Mary Street school

pizzaThe Easter long weekend has come and gone, and kids have had their fair share of family dinners, filled with hams and turkeys galore. Some kids might not be too thrilled with the amount of leftovers crowding their plates this week, but there is one thing they will never get tired of: pizza!

Pizza is on the lunch menu for Mary Street Community School’s Lunch and Learn program, which is helping Grade 3 and 6 students at the school get ready for the upcoming EQAO tests.

A big test such as this is important for any youngster, and they need to be prepared. Thanks to several community sponsors, such as Allstate, Velu’s Ajax Discount Pharmacy, Canadian Custom Design, Perrie Bikes, and the Simcoe Rossland Animal Hospital, the program has a great incentive for kids to come out and get ready for those tests – pizza from Little Caesar’s on Bloor Street.

All kids like pizza, and this ensures they will be ready for those tests at the end of May.

Principal Kasia Janowski and her staff have been working hard to ensure the students excel at their upcoming tests, and put them on the right foot for the next step in their academic careers.
