Teen severely injured in Oshawa hit and run
A 14-year-old Oshawa boy suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle while riding an off-road motorcycle on Stevenson Road south of Conlin Road in Oshawa.
On Monday, Feb. 17, at approximately 8:05 p.m., members of Central West Division were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Stevenson Road south of Conlin Road in Oshawa. A male was found lying on the roadway next to an off-road motorcycle and appeared to have sustained serious injuries. The rider, a 14-year-old Oshawa teen, was treated at the scene by paramedics and firefighters before being transported to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries via air-ambulance.
Witnesses in the area reported hearing a loud bang and observed what appeared to be a white sedan fleeing the scene, last seen driving southbound on Stevenson Road towards Taunton Road.
