Suspect sought in robbery
Durham police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in an armed convenience store robbery over the weekend.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, police were called to the Mac’s Milk on Wentworth Street West for a robbery that had just taken place. According to police, a male suspect armed with a knife entered the store and demanded cash. The suspect fled the store once he received his money.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years old, five feet and five inches to five feet and eight inches tall with a thin build and a dark goatee, and was last seen wearing a dark three-quarter length jacket, black pants, black winter gloves and a black toque.
