Street level robbery in Oshawa

Durham police are looking to identify a suspect in a robbery in Oshawa in early November.

Police responded to a street level robbery near Malaga Road in Oshawa on Tuesday, Nov. 3 around 11:20 a.m. The victim was walking in the area of Malaga Road when he was approached by an unknown male.

The suspect assaulted the victim and stole a number of personal items, including a gold chain with a distinct Jesus pendant before fleeing on foot.

The victim received non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6-feet tall in his early 20s. He was wearing a black jacket and dark pants.
