Stabbing suspect sought by police

A suspect is being sought after a man was stabbed during an altercation at a restaurant in Oshawa.

On Sept. 21, at approximately 10:45 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a McDonald’s restaurant on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa regarding a young man suffering from a laceration. Police received information that an altercation had taken place inside the restaurant and that an 18-year-old had been injured during the incident. The victim received medical treatment and was later released from hospital.

The suspect is described as: male, white, late teens, early 20s, approximately 5’6” tall, slim build, wearing a blue hooded “Nike” windbreaker, white “Champion” shirt, blue jeans and black and white running shoes.
