SIU investigating after stolen vehicle crashes

The SIU is now investigating a collision in Oshawa which took place recently at Bruce and Celina streets between a Lexus and Dodge van. The 63-year-old driver of the Dodge was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries. Before the collision, a Durham Regional Police Service officer had been attempting a traffic stop at the Lexus, suspected to be stolen.
