Shots fired in Oshawa
Durham police are looking to identify suspects after shots were fired in Oshawa over the weekend.
Police responded to a call at a residential complex parking lot on Lakeview Park Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 6 around 2:20 a.m. for repots of shots fired. Neighbourhood members called 9-1-1 after hearing several shots.
Police located shell casings in the area but there was no damage, or any sign of injuries. Police searched the area with negative results.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators will be checking local surveillance cameras in the area.
Police say there are no suspect descriptions at this time.
Investigators are looking for citizens that reside in the area who may have video surveillance of anything suspicious around the time of the incident to contact police.
