Sexual education policy a good one

Dear Editor,

I remember when one of my nieces was around six, she asked me why I did not have a girlfriend. I told her that there are some girls that like girls, there are some men that like other men and there is also the majority of men that like ladies.

She then asked me which group I fell into. I told her that I liked other men. I said to her, “do you understand?” She said yes. People should love whom they wish.

That came out of the mouth of a six year old, and that occurred about 25 years ago! Can you imagine that!

I think that if, of all the bonehead things the Liberal Party under Kathleen Wynne has done, we take this new sex ed and embrace it, then the Liberal Party has done something good. It’s something that the people of this province can proudly say that not only are we multicultural we are a very progressive people! I would just like to say a big thank you to Kathleen Wynne.
