Second suspect charged in November 2020 shooting that killed one man
A second suspect has been charged in connection with a shooting incident in November 2020 in Oshawa.
Durham police responded to an apartment on Simcoe Street near Athol Street for a shooting on Nov. 29, 2020 where police found a 27-year-old man without vital signs in an apartment unit.
The victim was taken to a local hospital but later died.
One suspect located at the scene also suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre.
Police say a firearm was recovered with the assistance of Air1 in searching the rooftops of the scene.
The first suspect, a 35-year-old man, was charged with first degree murder.
A second suspect, a 34-year-old man, was arrested on Feb. 4 and has been charged with manslaughter and robbery.
