Robbery suspect found hiding in home
An Oshawa man faces charges after police discovered him hiding during an attempted robbery.
On Wednesday, Sept. 4, at approximately 8 a.m., officers were called to a break and enter in progress on Thomas Street in Oshawa.
When officers arrived with police dogs, the suspect refused to exit the home.
He was later found hiding in a room within the house, and taken into custody without incident.
The 36-year-old man faces charges including break and enter, theft under $5,000, mischief and possession of property obtained by crime.
