Relay for Life looking for volunteers

The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteers for their annual Relay for Life event on June 9.

At Relay for Life, participants will walk the track and pass the baton to teammates to join together in the fight against cancer. The event will feature activities for all ages, food, music and tributes to those affected by cancer.

With many different activities, there are many volunteer roles to choose from. They are needed to assist with participant check-in, luminaries, activities, food, set up and more.

Relay for Life will be held on June 9, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Village Union Public School, 155 Gibb Street, Oshawa.
