Quick arrests made following home invasion in Oshawa

The Durham Regional Police have arrested three people after a man was assaulted during a home invasion on March 14.

Around 10:30 in the morning, officers were called to a home in the area of Thornton Road and Conlin Road. When they arrived, the man inside reported that two males had knocked on the door and forced their way inside. The two suspects assaulted the man before leaving in a waiting vehicle. The man was treated for minor injuries.

Police were able to locate and arrest the suspects in the Mary Street and Nonquon Road area later that day.

Police do not believe this was a random attack. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

A 24-year-old man and 19-year-old man, both from Oshawa, are charged with: robbery, assault with intent to steal, and assault with a weapon.

A 36-year-old woman has also been charged with being a party to the Offence.
