Police seeking car jacker
Durham police are searching for a suspect after a car jacking in Oshawa.
According to investigators, a man got into his car at a plaza at Stevenson Road and Laval Drive just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25. It was then that an unknown male approached him and threatened to stab him if he didn’t get out of the vehicle. The victim got out of the car and the suspect got in and headed east on Laval towards Stevenson.
The victim was not physically harmed and there was no weapon seen.
The suspect is described as a white male, about six feet and one inch tall and in his mid to late 20s. The suspect has a shaved head and light scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a long beige jacket or sweater and light track pants.
The vehicle that was stolen is a blue 2008 Chevrolet Malibu four-door with the licence plate BLNL 760.
