Oshawa man arrested in Tay Township
A traffic stop in Tay Township has led to charges for one Oshawa man.
Shortly before 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, an officer with the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police pulled over a vehicle after it had failed to stop at a stop sign.
During the stop, police found two of the occupants were carrying a large quantity of marijuana in the vehicle.
A 22-year-old Oshawa male has been charged with possession of more than 30 grams of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
A 25-year-old male of Tiny Township faces the same charges, as well as disobeying a stop sign.
