Open house at Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society of Durham Region will soon open the doors of its new Whitby location.

The new location on the second floor of Suite 202 at 1600 Champlain Ave. in Whitby will have an open house on Nov. 23, starting at 2:30 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. During the open house, visitors will get a chance to learn about the services the society has to offer.

“The new space reflects our vision to be a leader in the Alzheimer movement and recognized by our community as an essential provider of dementia-related services and supports,” states Denyse Newton, the society’s executive director, in a news release.
