Nominate volunteer today

The City of Oshawa is looking to recognize volunteers to recognize volunteers for their service to community-based organizations.

Individuals must be nominated for recognition by their volunteer organization.

Each organization is permitted to nominate two individuals annually.

Application forms are available online at oshawa.ca as well as city clerk services at Oshawa City Hall, 50 Centre Street South.

Nominees must be currently active in their volunteerism; and must have completed at least five years of continuous volunteerism for the organization submitting the nomination.

Recognition will be provided to each volunteer only once for each organization in which they qualify.

The deadline for application forms is Friday, March 8. Recognition will be provided to successful applicants at the City Council meeting to be held on Monday, April 8.
