No injuries in four-car wreck
Morning commuters were forced to work their way around a four-car wreck at the corner of Simcoe Street South and Bloor Street on Feb. 4. According to Sgt. Bill Calder, the silver Cadillac, seen here, slammed into the back of the car in front of it, resulting in that car being pushed into the car in front of it, and that car into the front of it. Calder says there were no reported injuries, but that the accident resulted in more than $35,000 worth of damage. As well, a 17-year-old female of Courtice was charged with careless driving as a result of the crash.
