Negotiations started too late

Dear Editor,

I am absolutely appalled at the government. The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation (OSSTF) has been without a contract since August of 2014 and they are just beginning to negotiate now? This is an absolute farce! This happens every time the OSSTF is up for contract renewal! This should have been settled as of last September. I do not think that parents and students really want a strike. Do you see now why it is imperative to vote?
