Multiple weapons seized
Four males have been arrested after a number of weapons were seized following an altercation.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, police were called to a residence in the area of Rossland and Harmony roads. According to police, four males made threats and brandished their weapons during an argument with a homeowner before fleeing in a vehicle.
Following an investigation, four suspects were quickly arrested. An imitation handgun, a baseball bat and several knives were seized.
A 51-year-old male of Bloor Street East in Oshawa and a 22-year-old male of Colavita Court in Woodbridge have both been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for the commission of an offence and criminal harassment.
An 18-year-old male of no fixed address has been charged with assault with a weapon, use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an offence, carrying a concealed weapon, criminal harassment and possession of cannabis.
A 21-year-old male of Oshawa has been charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, criminal harassment and possession of cannabis.
