Multi-million dollar goal

Lakeridge Health president and CEO Kevin Empey speaks out front of the hospital on Sept. 22 during the launch of the medical centre’s latest fundraising campaign. The hospital and the Lakeridge Health Foundation are looking to raise $5 million for new equipment for its interventional radiology department. The campaign has already reached $750,000. The interventional radiology department, which performs minimally invasive procedures, hopes to replace its 14-year-old equipment in order to see more patients and decrease wait times.
