Mr. Sub robbed at knifepoint
Police are seeking a male suspect after a south end sandwich shop was robbed over the weekend.
At approximately 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, a male suspect entered the Mr. Sub store at Wentworth and Oxford streets in Oshawa. Police say he demanded cash while brandishing a knife.
The store’s clerk handed over a quantity of cash and the suspect fled on foot. The clerk was not physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The suspect was last seen crossing Wentworth Street at Oxford and heading north.
The suspect is described as white with a slim build and approximately 50 years old. He was last seen wearing jeans and a dark hooded shirt.
