Man mugged afer leaving bar

Two Oshawa males are facing charges after a man was robbed after leaving a bar.

Officers responded to the area of Oxford Street and Malaga Road at approximately 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 24 for a street-level robbery. According to police, a 32-year-old male had been playing pool with two unknown male suspects before being asked to join them for a party. Shortly after leaving the bar, the man was pushed to the ground, kicked and robbed of his cash.

Following an investigation and assistance from the K-9 team, police arrived at an Oshawa residence and were there when a taxi arrived with the two suspects inside.

A 29-year-old male of Oxford Street has been charged with robbery and failure to comply with a probation order in connection with this incident.

A 29-year-old male of Pearson Street has been charged with robbery in connection with this incident.
