LOUCKS, James Richard “Dick”
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, in his 84th year. Predeceased by his beloved wives Robyn (neé Osborne) and Joyce (neé Sagriff). Loving father of Linda Porritt (Craig), Janice Loucks, and Nancy Loucks (Rick), and loving step-father of Kathy Edisbury (John). Cherished grandfather of Michael and Christopher Cullen; Ashley Knight; Sarah Coe; Ashley, Lindsay, and Johnny Edisbury; and great grandfather of Finn, Miles, and Beckett Cullen. Predeceased by grandson Jerrod Coe and sister Carol St. Denis. Survived by loving nieces Dianne and Debbie. Dick lived a full and vibrant life, and was happiest when he was meeting new people and travelling to new places. Dick will be forever remembered for his love of fishing, travel, and baseball (Blue Jays). He will be greatly missed by his many friends. A Celebration of Life service will take place at the Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, 160 Alexandra Street, Oshawa, Monday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Ashes at a later date at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
