Long weekend delays blue box collection

Residents in Oshawa will have to adjust their blue box collection schedule due to the Victoria Day long weekend.

Between May 18 and May 23, Oshawa residents will have their regular curbside collection moved to the following day in observance of Victoria Day.

Residents with collection scheduled for Monday, May 18 will temporarily have their collection moved to Tuesday, May 19. This shift will continue through the week ending with Friday, May 22 collection being moved to Saturday, May 23.

Blue box materials should be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
