Library branch extends hours

One of Oshawa’s south end libraries will soon have longer hours.

Starting May 2, the Jess Hann Branch – located in the Lake Vista Square Plaza at the corner of Wentworth and Cedar streets – will be open on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Currently, that branch is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

In a news release, Oshawa Public Libraries credits the decision to have the Jess Hann Branch open an extra day to public feedback.
