Lane restrictions at Simcoe and Conlin

The region’s works department is advising residents that construction work will result in lane restrictions near the joint Durham College/UOIT campus until the end of November.

Work began earlier this week in the area around Simcoe Street and Conlin Road to relocate a watermain and install temporary traffic signals. The temporary signs will be put in place in preparation for a full intersection reconstruction in 2016.

Construction is set to last until Nov. 30, and resume in May 2016.
