Impaired driver injures one in collision
A 27-year-old Oshawa male is facing charges of impaired driving after failing to stop at an intersection.
On Oct. 25 Durham Region Police were called to a four-way stop intersection at Enfield Road and Regional Road 3 for reports of a vehicle collision with injuries.
A black Chevrolet was travelling southbound on Enfield Road and failed to stop at the stop sign, striking an eastbound car as it pulled out after making its stop.
The collision sent both vehicles into a third vehicle stopped at the intersection.
The driver of the eastbound car was transported to hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
