Gottschalk signs with Gens

Right winger Grayden Gottschalk will be taking his talents to Oshawa.

The winger, who spent last season with the North York Rangers of the Ontario Junior A Hockey League, has committed to the team for next season, according to a news release from the Gens.

“Our scouting staff and I watched Grayden in Tier II a number of times last season for North York. We feel as though he can come in right away and add to our size and skill on the right wing,” states Roger Hunt, the team’s vice president and generals manager, in a news release.

Gottschalk had previously been on the protected list for the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, but was taken off after showing his desire to play in Ontario, closer to home.
