Giving a gift for some breakfast
The 100 Men of Oshawa are hosting their first Drive-Thru Charity Breakfast.
Taking place on Dec. 5, the Drive-Thru Breakfast is compliments of The Crooked Uncle Bar and Grill, 1180 Simcoe St. N.
Those interested can exchange an unwrapped gift for their breakfast, with a focus on kids 13 or older.
Some sample gifts include Oshawa Centre gift cards, Visa/Mastercard gift cards, Best Buy gift cards, toiletries, hair dryers, curling irons, makeup, shaving kits, socks, and Chapters gift cards.
All proceeds will go to Sharon’s Kids in support of the Durham Children’s Aid Foundation Holiday Hope Program.
The organization reminds visitors the restaurant is located on a corner lot, and entry from Simcoe Street will be restricted.
Visitors are asked to plan to enter from Orchardview Boulevard towards Simcoe, where they will be directed into The Crooked Uncle’s parking lot to drop off their gift and receive their breakfast.
