Gens bring in backup goalie in move to add more depth

The Oshawa Generals announced that they have acquired goaltender Aidan Hughes from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for a draft selection.

In exchange, the Generals trade a ninth round selection in the upcoming priority player selection.

The 6’4” Hughes will make his first appearance in a Gens jersey this weekend when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday and the Guelph Storm on Sunday while being on the road on Saturday, Dec. 15 against the Niagara Ice Dogs.

Hughes has played in 16 games so far this season. He has a record of 6-4-1-2, and has a 4.28 GAA, and a .868 save percentage.
