Generals drop a pair

Despite strong play from captain Michael Dal Colle and rookie Dominic Commisso, the Generals were bested in a pair of weekend matches.

First, travelling to Erie to face the Otters on Nov. 13, Oshawa ran into one of the best offensive clubs in the league, losing 6-4.

Oshawa goals came from Mitch Vande Sompel, Dal Colle and Commisso, along with Kyle MacLean netting his first OHL goal.

The following night, the Generals found themselves in Niagara against the IceDogs and some third period penalty trouble would lead to a 4-2 loss.

The Generals are back in action at the General Motors Centre on Friday against the Hamilton Bulldogs and again on Sunday against the Ottawa 67s.
