Fast driving in north Oshawa

A Whitby teen was charged with stunt driving after getting caught more than 80 km/h over the speed limit in the north end of Oshawa.

On Monday, Oct. 26, an officer in the area of Stevenson Road and Conlin Road found a car going 132 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Colin. Police stopped the vehicle at approximately 3:30 p.m.

A 19-year-old male of Sonley Drive in Whitby was charged with stunt driving and speeding as a result. As is dictated under provincial legislation, the teen had his licence suspended and his vehicle seized for seven days.
