Local History Spotlight – There can be unique challenges to tracing one’s family history if they have African heritage. The Oshawa Public Libraries will help those interested to explore some key resources and help them to get started on the discovery of their roots. The event is running from 6 to 7 p.m. at the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries, 65 Bagot St., and is free to attend.
