Durham Culture Days celebrates a decade
Durham’s arts and culture scene will be centre stage as the 2019 Culture Days weekend celebrates the events 10th anniversary.
Durham Tourism invites area municipalities, artists, event producers, and local organizations to be a part of the celebration from Sept. 27 to 29.
“Durham Region is home to an amazing and expressive creative community,” said Brandon Pickard, manager of tourism. “As organizers, artists and tourism businesses, you have a meaningful impression on your communities; we encourage you to be a part of the Culture Days celebration.”
All interested participants should register their events online on both the Durham Tourism and Culture Days websites. By registering an event on DurhamTourism.ca and CultureDays.ca, organizers will be part of both local and national marketing campaigns promoting events.
To be eligible, events must be participatory or interactive (either hands-on or behind-the-scenes), take place over the course of the 2019 Culture Days weekend, be registered on the Culture Days website, and be free for the public to attend.
