Dear Editor,

Do you know this man?

I was inspired to write by this very beautifully written article about Jean Vanier, saying, “There are not many people with a greater understanding of our society.”  Vanier may have done many great things for fellow human beings and left an example for us to follow, that we should help the needy, poor, orphan, physically and mentally challenged in any way we can.

However, it reminds me of another man whom we all know, but has been given a bad rap today by mainstream media with a political agenda, without really reading, knowing or understanding about him. His name is Muhammad, who was the Last Prophet of God, Almighty and sent by Him.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was mentioned by all previous prophets (pbua), as God Almighty had taken oath from them to convey and is in all of God, Almighty Divine Books including Al-Quran.

He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this earth. As a humble, gentle, kind, just, merciful, tolerant, forgiving human being & as husband, father, friend, neighbour, leader, warrior and peacemaker, he practised what he preached, founded a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behaviour for all times to come.
