Peacefully, after a short illness, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015. Erma, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Devine. Loving mother of Irene Devine and husband Ross Fernie of Toronto, Janet Devine-Nankivell and husband Dale Nankivell of Toronto, Leslie Devine and husband Gary Peterson of Oshawa, Jo Cunningham and husband Jim Morgan of Oshawa and of the late James Devine. Dear grandmother of Nicole Cunningham and husband Tyler Gubler; Sarah Whalen and husband Darin. Great-grandmother of Avery and Hanna Whalen and of Kane Gubler. Predeceased by her siblings John Byrne, Rita Cooper and Joseph Byrne.
