Concerns about Ontario’s Bill 66

Dear Editor,

Bill 66 is a very complicated and to say the least concerning bill.
It is not enough to disable the protective systems we all agreed were good protections after the province experienced a few deaths, such as Walkerton and in the case of daycares. Did these souls die in vain?
But what concerns me and I think provides insight on who/what is leading our province is the repealing (eliminating) of the Pawnbrokers Act? An act, which has requirements that make it difficult for stolen goods to be sold through a pawnbroker. Repealing this act will only result in increased burglaries, and increasing case loads for our already overtaxed police services.
So, why repeal it? Why indeed? Pretty sure it has nothing to do with saving money? Ask your MPP? Someone has to answer this question and a whole lot more.
Educate yourself on Bill 66, your children and grandchildren will thank you one day.
