Charges in sexual assault case
An Oshawa man is facing charges in connection with two incidents last year where teens were touched inappropriately.
The first incident came in February 2015, when a male teen reported he had been touched at a bus stop on Townline Road North, just north of King Street East. Four months later, in June 2015, a different male teen reported he had been touched inappropriately in front of a department store in the area of Harmony Road North and Taunton Road East.
A photo of the suspect was released in June 2015, and an arrest was made Jan. 21.
A 41-year-old male of Tarn Court in Oshawa has been charged with two counts of sexual assault in connection with these two incidents.
