The team behind Ideal Compass, which helps travel agents to improve business, was the winner of a $1,000 cash prize from Durham College’s Summer Accelerator program.
Two brothers took home a $1,000 cash prize thanks to their business venture which helps travel agents improve their offerings.
Robert Biggar, a graduate of Durham College’s advertising and marketing communications program, and brother William won the prize after achieving the top score in the college’s Summer Accelerator program.
The business venture, Ideal Compass, was created to “help travel agents increase their efficiency and improve the quality of their offerings for their clients,” reads a news release from the college.
“I’m really happy my brother and I were able to set the goal of developing a viable business and then went on to achieve that,” states William in the same news release. “The Summer Accelerator program truly helped us make Ideal Compass a reality; the sessions taught by business advisors, practice pitches and skill development all played a key role in our success. We’ve made some amazing connections over the course of the program and look forward to seeing what the future holds.”
