Cash, drugs and guns seized
Two people are facing numerous charges after a Durham police investigation led to the seizure of firearms, cash and drugs in Oshawa.
Throughout the investigation, a male suspect was observed conducting a number of drug transactions in Oshawa. It was determined two residences were used to store drugs and also conduct transactions.
The male suspect was arrested in the area of Stevenson Road and Adelaide Avenue. Police seized a loaded restricted handgun, quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and a quantity of cash.
Police conducted two search warrants at two residences, one on Simcoe Street where drugs and cash were located, and the other on Annapolis Avenue, where investigators seized drugs and a prohibited handgun.
As a result of the investigation, two loaded handguns, and approximately $9,000 in drugs and cash was seized.
A 35-year-old male of Annapolis Avenue in Oshawa is charged with numerous firearms and drug trafficking related offences.
A 43-year-old female of Simcoe Street in Oshawa is charged with drug trafficking related offences. She was released on an OIC Undertaking.
