Bylaw to protect both humans and animals

Dear Editor,

After seeing a leashed dog having jumped from a moving car on a busy highway, being choked and dragged along at a high speed, and seeing a “pet companion” dog in the lap of drivers of a vehicle, and more than two large dogs fighting in a vehicle, I hope that a “responsible pet owner bylaw and animal care standards” will be in place to protect drivers and pedestrians who are involved in accidents because of this outrageous behaviour allowed by dog owners.

Pet bylaws are absolutely necessary to protect animals and humans!
