BROWN, Evelyn Pauline
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side in her 90th year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday January 10th, 2016. Dearly loved wife of the late Clifford Brown (2011). Much loved Mother of Dianne Lightle and her husband Ed of Brooklin, Pat Dyck (late Ken) of Solina, Kathy Sullivan and her husband Larry of Brooklin, Norm Brown and his wife Patsy of Nestleton and Connie Brown and her partner Chuck Bristlon of Seagrave. Evelyn will be forever missed by her much loved Julie. Grandmother of Tracey, Rob (Shalamar), Sandy (Rob), Lori (Kevin), Matt (Roxanne), Jennifer (Mike), Ashley, Stephanie, Shannon and Jessica. Great grandmother of Mackenzie, Mitch, Jesse, Keenan, Christian, Rebecca, Carly, Olivia, Scott, Sydney, Xavier, Clarice, Peyton, Larra and Logan. Pre-deceased by her brothers Oscar, Noble, Bill, Milton and Bruce and sisters Edna and Elsie. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families. Heartfelt thank you to good friends Joe and Irene and PSW’s Mary Anne and Kathleen for all their compassion and care. Visitation was at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Visitation continued on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service in the Barnes Chapel Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Interment followed Nestleton Cemetery. In memory of Evelyn, memorial donations to Kedron United Church or the Humane Society (Durham Region) or a CHARITY of your choice would be appreciated.
