Arrests in murder of Oshawa man

Two 18-year-old men from Toronto have been charged in the murder of Oshawa man Jonathan Gayle-West
Two Toronto men have been charged with the murder of a 29-year-old Oshawa man.
Jonathan Gayle-West was murdered in province’s capital on Dec. 12.
Gayle-West had worked with Canadian sports channel TSN as a sports editor since August 2017.
He previously worked as a podcast host and on-air personality with Sportsnet.
The night of his death, he was found by police after his car left the roadway and struck a tree in the area of Islington Avenue and St. Andrews Boulevard.
Gayle-West was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead on the scene.
Samir Adem, and Salman Ahmed, both 18, of Toronto were arrested on Feb. 20 and charged with second degree murder.
