An other drug store on King Street robbed

Another King Street drug store has been robbed by a male seeking narcotics.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, police were called to the King Street Pharmacy near King Street East and Wilson Road regarding a robbery. According to police, the male suspect indicated he had a gun and demanded narcotics. After he was given the drugs, he fled the scene on foot.

No one was physically injured during the robbery and no weapon was seen.

The suspect is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years of age. He was seen wearing a black coat, dark pants and a dark scarf covering his face.

This robbery came three days after another drug store robbery on King Street. Lovell Drugs was robbed on Saturday, Jan. 16. That robbery also saw a male indicating he had a gun and demanded fentanyl from the pharmacist.

It is unknown if the two robberies are related.
