An event fit for a queen

Councillor Bob Chapman speaks at an event to celebrate the reign of Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 9, who on that day, became the longest ruling British monarch. Citizens filled the council chambers on the rainy morning. The ceremony was also attended by members of the Naval and Polish Veterans associations and members of the Royal Canadian Legion. A pair of soldiers from the Ontario Regiment also presided over the ceremony.
