Access to better health care needed

Dear Editor,

In the fight against COVID-19, everyone everywhere must have access to quality health services and the most vulnerable communities must be protected from the direct and indirect impacts of this global crisis. So, the prime minister’s announcement of $300 million for equitable access to treatment is a welcome first step on the way to investing one per cent of Canada’s internal COVID funding on international efforts where much more is needed.
