Warrant issued for suspect in case of missing woman

York police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a suspect wanted for manslaughter in connection with the disappearance of a Markham woman.

Jiarui (Jerry) Tang, 21, of Toronto has a warrant out for his arrest, with police saying they believe he is in the Greater Toronto Area.

Ying Chun (Annie) Li was last seen by her family on June 12, and has not been in contact or returned home since.

Those who know of Tang’s whereabouts are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately, and not to approach him.
