Turfdogs get recognition

A pair of Durham Turfdogs have been recognized for their efforts during the opening games of the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLAX) season.

Defenseman Pete Rennie and Mike Triolo were both given honourable mentions in the CLAX players of the week on Jan. 20.

Rennie was given the nod for his defensive efforts which have been key for Durham so far this season forcing multiple turnovers.

Triolo secured recognition as honourable mention for rookie of the week, attributed to his standout performance in his CLAX debut that included three goal and an assist.
