Three days of celebrating culture in Durham Region

Durham Tourism is inviting residents and visitors to participate in Culture Days, an interactive, free celebration of local arts and culture, taking place Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.

Many free and interactive events will be held during the celebration, and Durham residents and visitors are encouraged to explore their creativity, and experience creative expression through the region’s talented artists, musicians, creators, historians and more.

“Culture is an integral part of what makes our community so vibrant and we are excited to once again be participating in Culture Days,” says Kathy Weiss, Director of Economic Development and Tourism. “This annual event is an opportunity to showcase the enormous talent and creativity that exists right here in Durham Region. I encourage everyone to get out and discover our wonderfully talented local artists and cultural offerings, through the fantastic free activities available this year.”
